Molto soddisfattoMi serviva un buon set di chiavi a bussola da 3/8”che avesse un prezzo contenuto.
Avendo sempre sentito parlare bene del marchio Makita, ho deciso di comprare questo.
Il set arriva all’interno di una valigetta in plastica rigida dotata di cerniere rinforzate e impugnatura gommata.
All’interno troviamo la chiave a cricchetto da 3/8” con meccanismo da 84 denti, due prolunghe, una da 150mm e una da 75mm, le chiavi a bussola che vanno da 8 a 20 ed infine un adattatore 1/2”F x 3/8”M.
Nel complesso la qualità mi sembra molto buona, il set è in cromo vanadio ed il meccanismo del cricchetto non ha nessun tipo di gioco.
Se proprio bisogna trovare delle pecche, il manico del cricchetto potrebbe risultare un po’ ingombrante in spazi ristretti e avrebbero potuto aggiungere uno snodo cardanico che può essere sempre utile.
Consiglio l’acquisto a chi cerca un buon set da tenere a casa o in macchina.

You can't fault Makita qualityI decided to upgrade my old cheapo socket set with something a little sturdier. These are noticeably better, the ratchet handle has very little slackness/play on its mechanism. Works really well.

Much better than expected for the priceI wasn't expecting a lot due to the budget price, but was pleasantly surprised. The sockets seem generally well made although the finish isn't of top quality with some rough edges here and there. Socket tolerances seems good and quite tight, need to knock of the rust on bolts to seat them well, they are also 6 point so less worry about rounding off nuts. The ratchet has quite a lot of slop in the drive tang, but in use is very smooth and feels very solid, better than a much more expensive one I have. Blow moulded case is the typical form an has metal strengthened hinges. The selection of deeps sockets is a bit meagre with some common sizes missing, but again at the price can't complain.
Gave the ratchet and some of the sockets a workout including on some lug nuts just to see how they did. Didn't skip a beat despite the not really appropriate use, so looks good for lasting a decent while. Certainly worth a look given the paltry price.
