Folding portable stoveI never leave reviews! But for some time now I have been looking to change my rocket stove, which only serves to heat a pot and nothing else, taking up a large volume, for a more practical stove that has several functions of use. Because making campfires and cooking at the same time is always a problem!
I take cooking very seriously, but the most important thing and what we like after cooking is to spend a lot of time around the fire having something and chatting while we burn wood at night. I saw this stove and the size caught my attention since it is larger than the normal stoves of this style on the market that cannot be used as a campfire and only heats a few glasses of water due to its limited firewood capacity. for a single person (This stove will cook for a family!). The stove is made of very good quality stainless steel! There are cheaper ones and from my own experience they are disposable and unreliable in their mounted photographs or they are made of shiny materials that end up rusting after a few uses, there are also more expensive ones that are surely of the same quality as this stove. . It is very easy to assemble and disassemble and does not have sharp points due to its thickness and polish, which in others always ends up cutting you and you have to use gloves to assemble! What I liked the most is that it can be used as a campfire in addition to heating a pot or roasting meats and vegetables. With its size you can easily heat 4 people!! It is very flat to store and does not take up space. The weight for its size and thickness is very acceptable, only approximately 3 pounds. Even for carrying in a backpack, it is not a stove for those looking for very light weight if you are hiking alone and are going to boil a glass of water (this will heat up gallons of water!). A very good option to carry on your motorcycle, car, caravan or bicycle. It didn't bend in the heat. I was surprised by this product because of the heat it generates, giving such a wide and high flare thanks to its combustion! Compared to previous purchases of this style of stoves that end up deforming and having to struggle to assemble them or end up breaking the joints of so many assemblies over time, leaving them unusable, with this one you will no longer have problems, it even has some holes. Place a wire in each joint in case it breaks, although I don't think it will pass due to its thickness. Its design is very well thought out! I will order another one, I will leave this one on the motorcycle and the new one at my house in case the power goes out or an emergency arises that requires its use.
PD; It comes with many accessories in a very nice and very good quality canvas bag! One of the accessories that stood out is the fireproof mat that provides safety to light it anywhere, avoiding an irresponsible fire or burning where the stove rests! And even a handle to move it when it's on just in case and other pieces in case you don't want to use the grill or set up an alcohol stove. I liked !! Very happy with the purchase !!! I recommend it !

Instructions were incompleteWhen I followed the instructions to put this stove together, I had three pieces left over without any idea what they would be for. After reading the previous reviews, I found the two slots to put the straight pieces of metal but I have absolutely no idea what these are for. There are slots in these two pieces and I don't know why. But my stove only had two of these straight pieces and one of the photos in the product description showed four of these (second photo, top right). And I have no idea what the three sided piece of metal was for until I saw photos showing it was a handle. There was no description or photo of this at all in the description. Personally, I would be apprehensive about carrying this around while hot (heat conduction) and when in place, the handle would block the cooking area and difficult to remove when burning anything.
I found it easier to put this together by first putting the metal "base" that fits into a slot on opposite sides into place and then sliding on the two other sides. The grate on top fits securely.
This also came with a cloth that I assume is the fire retardent mat that was mentioned in one photo. It was about 1-2" wider on each side that the stove so I would think that it is very possible for sparks from the fire to fall beyond it. So ensure this is used in a designated fire circle or have an ample supply of water to extinguish all flames if necessary.
The grate at top might be good to grill a chicken thigh, 2 hot dogs, or a hamburger patty but not much more. So maybe okay to cook for one person only. or warmth for a few more.
I thought that this was relatively heavy for someone looking at it for backpacking but a decent option for someone camping in one spot and wants to grill something without having a large fire.

Slotted assembly has its pros but equally its cons.Definitely a compact storage capability but being such an assembly that just slides together, it can also slide apart just as easily and that might be annoying. Very easy to assemble. still a very small fire pit when fully expanded but enough for one person to accomplish their needs. If you were to move it around you would only be able to do so by grabbing two opposing walls. It comes with a handle that will only hook into those same walls so you can easily move it without the whole thing falling apart but you probably won't keep the handle in place or it will be too hot to grab thus someone could easily make the mistake of just trying to grab part of the stove and it could become disassembled enough to just spill out any remains from a fire that was in it. But aside from that it is a neat design that all fits into a pouch and the stainless grate for grilling is a nice quality. It comes with some additional rails that through me for a loop cause they aren't in the instructions or in the main listings photos but I found one small picture down lower in the listing that shows them being used to make a different grate support for pots, however they are using 4 of these to make it and mine only came with 2 so I won't really be able to do that. They do slide into a couple slots in the side as well and I could still use them for additional resting or hanging points for any cooking tools I guess. Comes with a "fireproof" blanket too for underneath if wanted. It's a cute and decent setup but not the greatest value in my opinion.

Very usefulIt’s easy to control the heat once you’re used to cooking on it. Prepare to melt the plastic off anything you use though. You want long cooking utensils as well to not burn your hands
