2,0 von 5 Sternen Scharfe Plastikkanten durch KauenDas Krokodil ist im Grunde genommen massiv Hartplastik, der in der Mitte mit Kautschuk überzogen.
Und das ist auch das "Problem": der Hund kaut nicht unbedingt auf dem Kautschuk, sondern auch – oder in unserem Fall besonders gerne – auf den Plastikenden. Die sind aber nicht zum Kauen geeignet, da durch die Zähne scharfe Kanten im Hartplastik entstehen und den Mundraum verletzen. Zudem können sich vom Kunststoff kleine Teile ablösen, die wie Splitter sind und verschluckt werden.
Daher wurde das Krokodil bei uns schnell (nach ein paar Stunden) aussortiert.

Manke es ist nicht unzerstörbar womit dabei geworben wird .
Meiner hat es in 3 Tagen zerstört, auf Grund dieser schriftlichen Aussage hatte ich es geholt . Also gibt es ehr ein OK als gut .

Durable well built toy for larger dogsI dislike the fact that it is very hard BUT my dogs are aggressive chewers (Bull Mastiff) and they play with it quite often and so far it's still in one piece.

Long lasting!We have 4 very large dogs that love to chew. All other toys we’ve purchased have lasted less than a day or two… until these. I originally purchased 2 last year for Christmas for them, just to try them out… we liked them so much we bought 3 more recently…
Pros: they can’t be torn apart so they last a very long time.
Cons: once the dogs have them “worn in” with consistent chewing, they get a bit spikey so those spikes can hurt a tiny bit (my husband and kids are super dramatic about it, it’s like a tiny scratch) and they are a tad loud when they get dropped onto the floor or bottom of their crates.
Other than that, our dogs love them and carry them around constantly. We only had to buy new ones because after a full year they had chewed them down enough to where they were somewhat smaller and we didn’t want them to have the whole thing in their mouths while they wrestled around over them. So we replaced them. At 9.99 for a full year of DAILY almost 24 hour play….It was well worth it. We won’t go without these toys ever again.

HardcoreIt is really sturdy, my 2 dogs chew on it a lot and it holds up. Over couple weeks, they managed to just make ends scratchy. One thing I wasn’t expecting is how heavy it is. I wouldn’t get this for dog that’s under 35-40 pounds, too heavy to carry.

Really tough!I have a Frenchie and a Dane, both dogs chew the he'll outta these things, and they have had them for 5-6 months. Still chewing on them and still trying to break them down, but only have a few lower spots since I bought them. Great chew toy for aggressive chewers!
